About Us

LYNK is a third year high school FIRST Robotic Competition (FRC) team, operating under the umbrella of the Inspire Carolina non-profit organization. We believe that FRC is a powerful program that can challenge and grow the high school students in our region, and have a positive impact on our community. We are a community-based team open to all high school students in Rutherford county North Carolina and the surrounding region. Our logo features a unique spelling of “link” as “LYNK,” which is intentional. We spelled it with a Y to remind us why we do what we do:

2026 FRC | REBUILT

In REBUILT presented by Haas, two competing alliances are invited to score fuel, cross obstacles, and climb the tower before time runs out. Alliances earn additional rewards for meeting specific scoring thresholds.

This thread is intended to serve as our Build Log. Rather than a structured, real-time build thread, this log will capture updates as time allows and as milestones are reached.

Entries may vary in depth and frequency, but the goal is to document key decisions, progress, and lessons learned throughout the season when we have meaningful updates to share.
